Music school Risto Savin - Where Music Wears a Smile: Modernizing a Musical Legacy

THE CHALLENGE

 

As the school approached its 60th anniversary, its visual identity felt out of rhythm with its youthful audience. The institution needed to shed its formal, rigid image in favor of a brand that felt approachable, playful, and inclusive, while still maintaining the professional standard expected of a prestigious music and ballet school.

THE SOLUTION

We conducted a complete “visual remix” centered on the universal language of joy. By deconstructing musical notation into a minimalist toolkit of lines, bridges, and circles, we built a modular system that scales from professional signage to whimsical character illustrations. The centerpiece is a dynamic logo—a “smiling note”—paired with a friendly mascot that guides students through the halls, transforming the rigorous study of music into a vibrant, lifelong adventure.
