Radgonske Gorice - Effervescence Reimagined: Elevating the Heritage of Bubbles

THE SPARK

As Slovenia’s oldest and largest producer of sparkling wine, Radgonske gorice faced the delicate task of honoring a 170-year-old legacy while appealing to a contemporary, global audience. The brand needed to transition from a traditional winery image to a lifestyle-oriented leader in the “premium celebration” category—ensuring that every bottle felt like a modern masterpiece without losing its historical soul.

THE SOLUTION

We crafted a visual identity centered on the concept of “The Golden Spark.” By refining the iconic “Zlata radgonska penina” typography and introducing a minimalist, high-contrast design system, we transformed the packaging into a tactile experience. The solution utilizes a sophisticated palette of deep blacks, shimmering golds, and clean whites, accented by geometric patterns that mirror the rising bubbles of a freshly poured glass. This new aesthetic was carried across a holistic brand ecosystem—from luxury gift boxes and editorial layouts to digital experiences—positioning the winery as an icon of timeless elegance.

The result was a prestigious brand transformation that successfully shifted consumer perception from a local staple to a global luxury contender. The redesigned portfolio achieved a rare harmony: it feels “archive-rich” yet “gallery-modern.”
